The 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid sedan offers high quality and reliability of the petrol powered Camry together with increased fuel efficiency. The Toyota Camry Hybrid can operate on any combination of the two power sources. Its power is transferred to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The CVT was chosen for its ability to keep the gas engine in its most efficient power band.

The Tacoma X-Runner RTR is powered with Tundra-sourced 5.7L V8 engine system which has been equipped with a TRD supercharger which produces 504 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque. The car is assisted to 6-speed automatic transmission which transfers power to wheels whereas using premium gas rather than race fuel.

The full charge requires four hours using a 240-volt line or ten hours using a 120-volt line, and after the electric power is fully used the Volt can continue on for as many as 300 additional miles by gasoline.
